Setup & Migration Guide

Install Brave from the App Store. Open Settings, scroll down to find Brave, tap it, then tap Default Browser App and select Brave.

Install Brave from the Play Store. Open the Brave menu, tap Settings, and select Set as Default Browser. Alternatively: Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → Browser app → Brave.

No app needed. Open Settings → Safari → Search Engine → DuckDuckGo. Safari will now search privately by default.

In Chrome, tap the three dots → Settings → under "Basics" select Search engine → DuckDuckGo. Or install the DuckDuckGo app and set it as your default browser for full protection.

Inside Proton Mail: Settings → All settings → Import via Easy Switch → connect your Google account. One connection imports your existing mail, contacts and calendar, and sets up live forwarding from Gmail at the same time.

Nothing in your Gmail inbox changes — this just builds a bridge while people catch up to your new address. Run both inboxes in parallel for as long as you need.

Paste a Google Doc link directly into a Notion page and select Import from Google Drive — or go to Settings → Import → Google Docs, connect your Google account, and choose the file. It arrives as a native Notion page.

There's no live sync without a third-party connector. The clean route: in Sheets, go to File → Download → Comma Separated Values (.csv), then import that file directly into a new Notion database or Airtable base.

Tidal's own recommended path is Soundiiz — connect both accounts and it transfers playlists, liked songs, and followed artists in one pass. Free tiers usually move a playlist or two at no cost; paid tiers move a full library at once.

Nothing to import. Go to meet.jit.si, name a room, and share the link — guests join straight from a browser with no account or download.

Starting a room as host currently asks for a quick free sign-in (Google, GitHub, or similar) — a one-time step per host, not per call.

Inside Calendly: Availability → Calendar settings → Connect calendar account → Google. Calendly then checks that calendar for conflicts and adds new bookings straight into it, so nothing double-books.

No migration needed — it simply replaces the back-and-forth scheduling email with a single poll link sent to everyone at once.
